My team at Oklahoma Christian University identified a problem of parents and guardians not having enough information for when their student arrives on campus. We decided to create a brochure with all the details they could ever ask for. With the help of our AMAZING copywriter Melinda Brookshire, we were able to get that knowledge to those who need it.
My job was to create an interesting layout that parents would want to pick up and continue to read past the first page. In keeping with our brand standards (aka "Leading with Maroon) I began working on layouts that used the color to its advantage. As I was working on this, I was able to use the circular shape of our logo as a repeating theme throughout the brochure. Completing this project allowed me to stretch my skills with color and layout design to produce a tool and solve a problem.
