Spellers Collective was my first project as a freelance designer. In this adventure, I was able to learn about my clients amazing mission, to serve children who are non-speaking. As a spelling to communicate practitioner, my client teaches children to use a alphabet board to type out what they can not speak out loud.
My client wanted give herself a name and recognition with the spelling community. Our goal for the brand creation was to build a logo that was similar to the board used in the spelling sessions but was also readable for all audiences. Then in choosing the colors, the client wanted to stay in the muted tones but to still be able to have some fun. Overall this brand really speaks into a community looking for a home, and I know they have found it with my client and her amazing work.
